Hepner & Myers LLP was founded in April 2019 by Irv Hepner and Amanda Myers. Irv and Amanda had been working together for over nine years at national law firms when they decided that by starting their own firm they could serve their clients more efficiently and with an even greater degree of individual attention. In June 2021, Amy Freilich, a prominent land use and real estate attorney, joined the firm as a partner. Together, Irv, Amanda, and Amy bring over 80 years of big law and corporate experience in practice areas including real estate, project finance, land use, environmental, public-private partnerships and general corporate law, including general counsel services.
Irv Hepner has over 40 years of experience in corporate and real estate work, and is the former general counsel of an NYSE listed company. He provides outside general counsel services, as well as transactional representation in project finance and project development, particularly in the industrial and energy sectors.
Amanda Myers’ practice covers a broad range of real estate transactions, including real estate finance, construction projects, purchase and sale transactions, leasing, formation of joint ventures and representing developers in the acquisition, financing, and sale of renewable energy projects.
Amy Freilich is a land use and real estate attorney who has spent over 30 years obtaining entitlements and providing California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) guidance throughout California for major residential, industrial, retail sports, entertainment and transit-oriented projects and leading complex public private development negotiations for private developers and public agencies.
